A. Donor Information (For 80G Tax Exemption & Receipts)

When you make a donation or pledge to support our social initiatives:

Full Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
Permanent Account Number (PAN) – mandatorily collected under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act to issue valid tax exemption certificates.
Billing Address for issuing official donation receipts.
Donation transaction details, payment ID, and transaction timestamps. (Note: We do not store card credentials, CVVs, or bank passwords. All payments are processed through RBI-authorized, encrypted payment gateways).

B. Volunteer & Partnership Applicants

When you apply to join as a volunteer or partner with us:

Full Name, Contact Number, Email Address, Location/City, and Educational/Professional background.
Areas of interest (e.g., Women Empowerment, Free Medical Camps, Tree Plantation, Child Education).

C. Mega Quiz Contest 2026 Participants

When registering for our online or on-ground educational contests:

Participant’s Full Name, Class/Institution, Age, and Contact Details.
Quiz performance and responses for generating verified e-certificates and merit awards.

D. Comments & Inquiries

When visitors leave comments or submit forms on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments/inquiry form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to facilitate spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify account usage. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly alongside your comment.

E. Media Uploads

If you upload images to the website (such as volunteer activity photos or contest submissions), you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download and extract location data from public images hosted on the site.

Spam & Security Verification: Visitor comments and automated form submissions may be verified through automated spam detection services.
Trusted Service Partners: Secure payment processors, official email dispatchers, and SMS gateways bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.

6. How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments & Inquiries: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically instead of remaining in a moderation queue.
Registered User Profiles: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal details at any time (with the exception of usernames). Website administrators also have access to view and update this information.
Financial & Donation Records: Retained for a mandatory minimum period of 7 to 8 financial years in accordance with Indian Income Tax statutory requirements.
Contest & Volunteer Records: Retained as long as active certificate validation, communication, or project execution requires.

If you have an account on this site, have registered for an initiative, or have left comments, you are entitled to:

Request an exported file containing the personal data we hold about you, including any information you have provided to us.
Request the rectification or updating of any incomplete or inaccurate personal records.
